TET-A-TET

têt-à-têt
French Canadian. Lebanese. Vegetarian.

têt-à-têt:
noun: a private conversation between two people
noun: small sofa that seats two people

There is a hole in the market for vegetarian and vegan restaurants where the restaurants are too brightly lit, overly decorated with fake plants, the food doesn't appeal to those that do eat meat, and they are poorly branded. This is where têt-à-têt comes in.

The goal for the branding is not to communicate the plant forward menu but rather the cozy & elegant but playful experience têt-à-têt offers. The wordmark transforms into what its name means.

For the food menu, it's two diners seated across from each other sharing a meal. For the drink menu, the diners transition to standing at a bar. And for the late night menu, the diners get comfortable and intimate, focusing on each other.

I combined my heritage and experience as a cook to create a unique food menu consisting of some fusion, some French, and some Lebanese dishes.

Inviting, cozy, contemporary, intimate, warm, AND elegant.
